Campden Wealth reschedules European Families in Business Forum in Berlin to 2022

By Campden Wealth

Campden Wealth, organiser of the leading European Families in Business Forum, has announced the 18th edition of its event has been rescheduled to 30-31 March, 2022 at the original venue of The Grand Hyatt Hotel in Berlin.

The European Families in Business Forum’s original dates of 1-2 December, 2021 were changed due to growing concerns about the spread of coronavirus, Covid-19, in the Berlin region and throughout Germany.

Neighbouring Austria returned to a full national lockdown yesterday as infection rates on the continent continued to rise.

Peter Newton (pictured), director of events at Campden Wealth, said the wellbeing of clients and staff was the priority.

“Given the evolving context, the best course of action is to postpone the European Families in Business Forum,” Newton said.

“This is not a decision we have taken lightly. We believe these new dates will provide the international family business community with the opportunity to come together in a safe and secure setting to achieve their business objectives. We are grateful to all our community for their support and constructive input during this challenging period, and we look forward to talking with you all in the coming days.”

Campden Wealth said it will be communicating regularly with the family business community to provide details of the rescheduled forum.

The global family business, family office and private wealth membership organisation will continue to host its popular Family Alternative Investment Forum in London on 23-24 February, 2022.
