A message from Dominic Samuelson, CEO, Campden

By Dominic Samuelson

Dear readers and members,

On behalf of Campden and the Institute for Private Investors, it gives me great pleasure to announce that nominations are open for the Jones Prize in Philanthropy 2018.

Now in its second year, the prize has increased from $25,000 to $30,000 and also includes two runner up prizes of $10,000 in the form of grants to a non-profit that the awardees work with.

The Jones Prize honours the memory of Dennis Jones a long serving member of our community and will be awarded at the Institute for Private Investors’ May Spring Forum in New York on May 30-31.

The Dennis M. Jones Family Foundation, in partnership with IPI, will present this award to an individual whose dedication to service parallels Dennis’ own. Dennis was well-known to the IPI community, and the community at large, for his deep passion for philanthropy.

Is there somebody you know whose outstanding contribution to philanthropy compels you to put this individual forward?

Nominations are open and will be accepted through Friday, April 27th 2018. You can apply and learn more by completing a simple nomination form at www.instituteforprivateinvestors.com/jones-prize and share the story of your nominee’s exceptional work in philanthropy.

Thereafter, shortlisted candidates will be interviewed as we seek to name the second recipient of The Jones Prize in Philanthropy.

The ceremony will take place at the May Spring Forum in New York on, May 30th, 2018.

I would like to encourage you all to send in nominations and refer outstanding Philanthropists whether they be young and entrepreneurial or wise beyond years.

We look forward to receiving your nominations and reading through these inspiring stories.

Warm regards,
