The Philippines’ largest housing developer, family-controlled Vista Land and Lifescapes, has promoted the second generation of the family to a higher position, as the company looks to expand operations.

The Philippines’ largest housing developer, family-controlled Vista Land and Lifescapes, has promoted the second generation of the family to a higher position, as the company looks to expand operations.

The Manila-based group said in a statement that Manuel Paolo Villar, son of company founder Manuel Villar Sr, has been appointed as group president and chief executive.

Family-owned construction company Wates Group has added three more family members to the company’s executive board in a move to increase the family’s management role.

Family-owned construction company Wates Group has added three more family members to the company’s executive board in a move to increase the family’s management role.

A spokeswoman for the group told CampdenFB that Andy, Charlie and Tim Wates have joined as directors of the board.
