The head of strategic planning at technology-company Infosys, Ganapathy Subramanian, will reportedly step down after a nearly a decade and take on a managerial role at the chief executive’s family office.

According to an article from Business Standard, Subramanian will join Infosys’ cofounder S D Shibulal – set to retire in August – at his family office Innovations Investment Management India in Bangalore in the near future.

Conducted by multi family office Stonehage, the research found the decrease was primarily fuelled by a 9.7% fall in the price of luxury consumables.

The anonymous family office, which manages $200 million (€145 million) for several families, has entered the agreement with Cambridge Companies – a Las Vegas-based developer, specialising in land use and zoning enhancements, as well as residential and commercial developments.

Family offices talk a lot about club deals, but are they really happening, or just figments of fund managers’ imaginations? Campden reports. 

Club deals are all the rage. At least in theory. Many families are sick of paying fees to asset managers who stick their money in a black box, wave a magic wand over it and then, well, find that the money has vanished in a puff of smoke. People with burned fingers are, predictably, keen to cut out the middleman and invest directly. The idea of teaming up with other like-minded family offices to make direct private equity-style investments has an evident appeal. But club deals are not happening as fast as you might expect.
