Family-owned private bank Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch & Cie has changed its brand name to simply Lombard Odier. LODH will, however, remain the company name.
The bank claims the name change is in response to its international ambitions and its increasingly global footprint. A new visual identity will be implemented gradually over the course of the year.
"In order to enhance the firm's reputation and visibility in the international markets, the partners decided in favour of simplifying the brand name," said managing partner Pierre Darier, the fifth generation of his family to manage the bank.
Founded in 1796, Lombard Odier is the oldest firm of private bankers in Geneva and one of the largest in Switzerland and Europe. An independent family business for seven generations, it is today run by eight partners, including Thierry Lombard (pictured).
