The Campden Research team has already surveyed dozens of eligible Millennials but more are urged to take part to make the eagerly awaited report as robust and authoritative as possible.
Building on the success of their influential 2015 report Proving Worth: The Values of Affluent Millennials in North America, their 2016 study explores in depth the attitude of Millennials towards wealth:

o Their perception of risk and preference for learning about investments
o Their priorities for doing good through impact investing and philanthropy
o Attitudes towards family wealth
o Perceptions of robo-advisers and building trust

Stuart Rutherford, Director of Research, at Campden Wealth, said preliminary survey results had revealed that next-gens were driving “fundamental changes” in the uptake of impact investing within their family portfolios. What further changes Millennials had in store were immensely compelling, he said.

“The research will look beyond impact investing, and investigate what changes UHNW Millennials are likely to make to their families’ mainstream investments, which is of huge interest to the community.”

UHNW individuals born between 1980 and 1995 were encouraged to participate in a quick 15-minute survey, which they can access by following this link.

No special knowledge or experience was required to take part. All responses were kept confidential and anonymous. The report will be published in association with OppenheimerFunds in November this year.

“Should any willing Millennials have 20 to 25 minutes of time between now and mid-September we would also love to connect with them in an anonymous and confidential interview over the phone,” Rutherford added.

“We use interviews to add colour and context to the findings from the survey. By sharing their perspective with us, they will help us build a picture of their differing attitudes, while using the opportunity to make their voices heard.”
